Who can be Hypnotised?

Nearly everybody once it is understood that the hypnotist cannot hypnotise an unwilling subject.

The only people who do not respond to hypnosis are:

1.   People who cannot retain information in their conscious minds long enough for it to be absorbed by the unconscious mind.   These people lack concentration and attention.

2.   People who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, in other words they are “inebriated” or “stoned”.

3.   Very young children who do not have the mental intellect or capacity to understand what is expected of them.   They have not sufficiently developed the word sense in their conscious minds to begin the process.

4.   People who do not wish to be hypnotised!
